The Cubs learnt all about the different elements to baking bread and how the different rolls and breads are made. They also had a chance to eat Tiger bread and Hot cross buns

This was followed by a visit to the fish counter where they learnt fun and interesting facts about the vast array of fish that Tesco sell. We then moved onto the Deli where the Cubs had the opportunity to try some Different cheeses (Cows, Goats and Sheep)

The tour then took us through the Fruit and Veg areas where we sought out the fruit that came from the furthest away and the closest. We found out that fruit comes from as far away as Thailand and as close as 10 miles away.

It was then onto the cold parts of the warehouse including the Freezers that were at -18 degrees and right through to the loading bay where the lorries are unloaded.

The night completed with Grand Howl in the entrance of Tesco with Parents and Shoppers standing to watch
